Week 64 and Week 177

William is 64 weeks old and still changing every day!  He now shakes his head yes.  Usually when I am asking him about food, but he's got it down and is so darn cute doing it!! It's like he's really trying and concentrating while he does it.  He is learning more and more words and just seems to be taking everything in.

Emily is 177 weeks old.  Emily got a new Snuggie Bear this week.  Snuggie Bear's sister joined our family!  We found an identical one on ebay and she arrived complete with a note for Emily.  She was so excited and loves her new Snuggie.  It is not a replacement for the old one of course, but she is happy to have both of them and it will hopefully help the transition when the old one disintegrates!!  We also went to the Carnival this week and Emily had a blast!  She giggled through every single ride and could not get enough of it all!  It was so much fun to watch her have such a good time.  

We started swimming lessons this week in a parent child class.  Grammie has been joining us as an extra pair of hands and it's been a lot of fun.  It has taken William a little while to get used to the water, but we've seen quite a bit of progress in just one week.  He started out not even wanting to put his feet into the baby pool and by Friday he was standing in it and walking around along the edge and going after toys!  He even started dipping his face into the water during lessons by the end of the week.  We'll see how much more he does next week, but the fact that he is happy and doesn't freak out makes me happy!  Emily on the other hand is our little fish.  She has absolutely no fear (which may not be a great thing...) and loves going under the water.  She has even started swimming on her own with her face in the water from me to the teacher.  She loves jumping in the water and doesn't even need to hold my hands anymore.  She is growing up way too fast, but I'm so glad she loves the water!!

We had a fun weekend with Ed, Carrie, Grammie, and Pop Pop on Saturday and then celebrating Athan's baptism on Sunday.
