Emily is 44 Weeks Old Today

Emily is 10 months old! She loves to stand whenever possible. She has pretty much mastered pulling herself up on things. She has even begun to cruise around the coffee table a bit. She was originally afraid of the Christmas tree but after a week or so has definitely warmed up to it and loves looking at it and touching it too! She never got too close though, so we didn't really have to worry about ornaments or the tree toppling over. Next year will be a different story I'm sure. This was a really busy week with all of the Christmas festivities and preparing for them, but Emily was great through it all and had a blast! Here are a few pics from the week.

Touching the pretty tree. By the way I think she says "pretty tree" now too!

Silly girl in the bath.

Cute pic in front of the tree.

Playing with her new phone.

44 weeks old and standing. This week was a tough one to get her to be still!

Christmas Take Two!

And just when you thought the Christmas posts were done...here are a few pics from the Greenaway family Christmas. I was trying to figure out why I never got a pic of Michael, Emily, and I on Christmas and then I realized it was because Emily was always in someone else's arms! Oh well, maybe next year!!!

Merry Christmas to me!

Emily's First Christmas

Emily's first Christmas was a lot of fun for everyone! It took her awhile to get through her gifts, but she enjoyed the opening and playing with the paper and boxes. Oh yeah, she liked the gifts too!! Thank you everyone for all of her wonderful gifts! Here are a few pics from the day. Oh, and I got a fun new toy to play with too! A nice new camera to keep the blog going strong!!!

More presents. Grandpa found a bear just like her Snuggie bear. She looks excited!

Let's see how it tastes.

Ughh...this may look like Snuggie bear but it sure doesn't taste like Snuggie bear.

What to do with all of these gifts...

Check out Emily's new ride!

Irene is enjoying herself at least!

Emily is 43 Weeks old!

Emily is 43 weeks old today. 2 days away from being a 10 month old. Yup, double digits! Where has the time gone? Christmas is almost here, but we are ready! Emily has been practicing pulling herself up and standing a lot this week. We had fun getting our Christmas tree and decorating it. We had virtual cookie day on Saturday, which worked out rather well! Because of the "huge" storm we got we didn't go down to Aunt Paula's but we were there via webcam. It was a good substitute and we got lots of cookies baked! The week ended with Emily's acting debut. She was Baby Jesus in the Sunday School pageant at my parent's church. She didn't really want anything to do with the manger, but she was there and of course cute! She did a much better job than the doll would have done!! Next week we'll be posting about our 10 month old on Christmas, I'm sure it will be fun!

Here she is playing catch with Sara.

Here she is practicing standing up. She does pretty well at this, she can even go all the way upright if there's something higher to hold on to.

Here's one of her typing on my keyboard.

42 Weeks Old!

What a week! Emily accomplished a lot this week. She started pulling herself up earlier in the week and by today, she was able to pull herself up on the coffee table and hang out standing up! She's officially a climber. She also mastered going from her belly to sitting up today. We have a girl on the move!!! She has also been sleeping a bit later into the morning, which makes for very happy parents. Let's hope that one will stick around! Check out our fun this week...

Having fun with the Christmas animals at Grammie & Pop Pop's.

First time she pulled herself up, slippery shoes and all!!

Standing became the thing to do this week!!

She also had fun rolling the ball back and forth with us. She was really getting the hang of it.

Silly girl!

She pulled herself up on her exersaucer and then moved to the coffee table.

We had a great time at the Moran's Christmas party. It was a really nice day and almost all of the family was there. Something that doesn't happen much anymore. Here are a few pics of some of the kids having fun.
