31 Weeks...

Emily is 31 weeks old today. We had a pretty eventful week. On Tuesday Emily officially became a 7 month old. Over half a year has passed since she was born. Where did the time go? She is moving around quite a bit and will probably be crawling soon. She started pushing herself backwards on the hardwood floor, so she is figuring out ways to move around. I am also going to say that she officially said her first word. On Friday morning, she was sitting on our bed and Michael and I were both there and she looked at me, put her hands in the air, and said..."MaMa". She definitely said it right to me. She has yet to do it again, but I'm sure it will be coming...Oh how big she is getting.....

Just eatin' some cheerios. Doesn't everyone eat with their foot on the table??

Smiley 7 month old.

Such a big girl playing with her keys.

Best toy ever...wrapping paper tube!!!

Having fun doing some apple picking with Mom.

It's a little big, but Mommy said today was a long sleeved day and I had to be appropriately dressed for football day!!! J-E-T-S! Jets! Jets! Jets!

31 weeks old and having fun!

Emily - Week 30

Emily is 30 weeks old!! We had another week of fun! We enjoyed a few fall morning walks...yes fall, time to pull out (or buy) appropriate clothing! Emily finally discovered her belly this week and how fun it is to hang out that way. She would always just roll over as soon as we put her on her belly, she did a lot of belly playing this week and can even spin in circles! She has also slept on her belly quite a few times. What a change from the girl who would scream when she rolled onto her belly!!

Just playing in the morning

Getting ready to crawl?

Hmmmm...finger or toy?

What's so funny Aunt Jen?

Emily and Grandpa hanging out at Aunt Paula's birthday party.

Yay! The hat finally fits! Dressed nice and warm for the outdoor church service. It was a chilly, but beautiful morning.

30 weeks old. What a big girl!
Let's go Jets...2 in a row!
The jumper was my consignment shop find this week. So, will she be wearing her Jets outfit for the weekly pic for the next 15 weeks??? I'll have to make sure I get the pic before game time!!

Emily is 29 Weeks Old!

And another week passes...Emily is still growing each and every day. She is loving solid food and even tried some cheerios this week. It's really cute to watch her try to pick them up and get them into her mouth. She is very persistent and eventually gets a few in there. She does a great job gumming them down to nothing too! This week is also Emily's first week of football. The Jets even won for their newest little fan!!

Always reaching...

Playing with the blocks Grandma made for her. Is she asking for something Daddy?

I just love her eyes in this pic.

What is it with babies and laundry baskets? I saw the basket sitting there and just couldn't resist sticking her in it. She didn't mind one bit!!!

All ready for game day, Jets cleats and all!

29 weeks old (and yes, she has Jets socks too!)

Emily is 28 Weeks Old

Well, another week has passed already and summer is coming to an end. I can't believe we are headed into fall already! Fall is the only season Emily hasn't seen yet. I definitely felt very blessed this week, when I didn't have to go begin another school year and instead got to stay home with Emily. It took a little while to get used to the idea, but I will definitely be just fine! Emily's new favorite thing to do is to yell MAMAMAMAMAMA....do you think she knows what she's saying? It sometimes seems like it. We had some fun this week, check it out...

Happy girl playing

Emily loves bathtime!

Mommy's little helper. Emily snagged the spatula right out of the bowl. She has a new favorite toy!

We went to the quarry for Steven's 50th birthday party. Pop Pop is trying to introduce Emily to Dilly Bars. He should have know she would dive right in!

Our little princess

Having fun at Uncle Sean's

Sean gives being a homeowner two thumbs up!

Cheers! First beer at the new place. I am sure there are many more to come!!! Congrats Sean!

Emily is making it very difficult to get a good picture. Perhaps we should make the sign out of something other than paper! These are the best we got.

Happy 28 weeks!
