Week 79 and Week 192

William is 79 weeks old and officially an 18 month old!  How did that happen??  I am officially loving this age (when I'm not totally frustrated, that is!).  William is learning new things everyday and is talking up a storm.  He is happy as long as no one takes what he wants and everyone knows what he wants at all times!  It is getting easier to figure things out and he can sometimes calm down if I can get him to understand the situation.  We still have our tantrums but they don't usually last for too long.  William finally got another tooth this week.  So, he now has 7.  This is his first one since the spring!!  We had a nice week getting back into our routine and enjoying some nice weather.  Mommy even made it to the gym this week and William did great in the childcare room.  He saw the train table and he was off playing and did not mind me leaving at all.  I was not sure how he would do since he is rarely left by himself without Emily and she was at school.  So I guess I have no more excuses!!  Time to get my butt in shape!!

Emily is 192 weeks old.  We had a fun week practicing her song that she sang in church today.  She did a great job.  Smiled and sang the whole time!  She loves being on stage!  She won't walk with her Sunday School class by herself, but she'll march right up in front of the whole congregation and put on a show!  We had a fun Saturday that started with the town Halloween parade.  It was fun to get the kids in their costumes and have some fun.  William won in his age group, so the effort was worth it!  And Emily got to learn that sometimes she doesn't win and her brother gets things that she doesn't.  She was really very good about it.  Then she got to go to a craft birthday party, which she loved.  So she is now planning her Cinderella birthday party at Michael's!!  She's been set on Cinderella since her last birthday, and I'm beginning to think it is going to stick...we'll see!

Here are some pics of our fun this week.....

William loves his pillow and his Snuggie Bears (and now Mickey too!)
Every morning he has to take them all out of his crib with him so he can keep snuggling!

And...if William has his pillow out, so does Emily!
As much as Will copies Emily, she wants to do everything he does also!!

Week 78 and Week 191

William is 78 weeks old.  The first part of the week was Disney World, then we took the plane home and got right back into our routine then spent a quiet weekend at home while Daddy went camping.  Well, quiet until our friends came over on Saturday.  We watched the boys while Mom and Dad went out!  I suppose the plane ride is worth a mention.  William was tired as we were flying right around nap time.  I figured this would work out great and he would sleep, well he just wouldn't settle and was so cranky when things didn't go his way.  He'd relax a bit here and there but just would not give in until 2 seconds after we landed!!!  Yup, he waited until we hit ground and passed out in my arms.  He then stayed asleep in the stroller through the airport, in the car on the way home, and then slept some more in his bed!!  I told you he was tired!!  Overall the trip wasn't bad and Emily was great on her first plane ride.

Emily is 191 weeks old.  She is most definitely our little ballerina.  When we got back she had dance class on Thursday and then her outfit for the day on Friday was her leotard.  She would not take it off and even took out her ballet shoes to dance around the house.  She is so into it this year and is having tons of fun!

Here are some pics of the end of our week....

Disney World

Our trip to Florida ended with 2 days in Disney World.  It was a fun, exciting, princess filled, exhausting trip.  Emily loved the rides, her favorites were the Barnstormer, Teacups, Dumbo, and the Magic Carpets.  She also had a blast meeting the characters and loved getting all of their signatures (all of the good guys anyway...she wanted absolutely nothing to do with any bad guys).  On the second morning we got up bright and early to have breakfast with the princesses and Emily had a blast meeting them all.  We also were lucky enough to be there for the first dress rehearsal of the brand new princess section of Fantasyland.  We got to ride the new Ariel ride with no line at all, it was great!  (Emily didn't like the Ursula parts of course).  Emily didn't like it when it got dark or loud on any ride or show.  Luckily she seems to be remembering the good parts and isn't focusing on the parts she didn't like.  I know I'm talking about Emily a lot, well that's because she's the little princess and that was the main reason for going, however William had a great time too!  He got to go on most of the rides also and loved it!  He wasn't very into rides this summer and I even had to get off the carousel this summer because he refused to sit on the horse.  He kept asking to go on the horsies and had a great time!!  It's amazing the difference a couple of months make.  He also seemed to be ok with the characters until Minnie touched him, he totally freaked!!  He still liked looking at them from afar but didn't want to get too close after that.  His favorite word of the week was "POOL"!  We could see the pool from our room and every time he woke up the first word out of his mouth was pool.  He absolutely loved swimming and is doing so well in the water.  Yes, we went all the way to Disney World and one of the favorite moments of my kids was the pool!  Phoebe and Heron also had a blast in the pool with us.  We had a great time at the Magic Kingdom with them also.  It was a lot of fun having the big kids around and experiencing it all with them.  It was also nice having the extra adults to help with everything!  Overall a great trip, great memories, and great time with family.  And now a week later I think I may have finally caught up on some sleep!!!

Here are some pics of our Disney fun!!
