July and stuff

William's new thing is when I am changing his diaper he pulls up his legs and says "Squirt, squirt" and thinks he's so funny!  I guess he really knows how things work and luckily he has not actually squirted me yet!!  Perhaps it's time for potty training!

He also has a new word he uses often and has now become a permanent part of his vocabulary.  In fact it has become so popular that Emily even uses it now also.  I have no idea where he got it from, but he always call people "chumble wheezers".  It's pretty funny and doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon.

My current favorite thing Emily says is instead of saying "at least"  she says "a gleast".  She doesn't have too many speech things going on anymore so this one sticks out every time she says it.

We've been having a great summer so far.  We had fun celebrating Jen's birthday, went to the Crayola factory, Emily and I helped at a charity car wash (her first big community service event), spent many days at the pool with friends, and to top it off Emily won her very first goldfish at the carnival.  She has been asking for a goldfish every since Pop Pop gave her the idea in March.  She even still has the money she made at her lemonade stand to use for her fish.  She has had the fish named for months now too.  So, when we saw the fish game at the carnival Emily had to play!  She had to throw a ping pong ball into the small fish bowls and she actually did it!  Daddy was trying also, but she's the one who got it in.  We ended up with 2 fish since a nice guy gave us his also.  Yay!!  So we are now the proud owners of Princess Goldie and Belle.  Unfortunately Princess Goldie only made it 6 days, but Belle is doing well and even survived a week under the excellent care of AC while we were on vacation.  Emily loves her fish so much, I just hope Belle continues to do well!  She was very upset about Princess Goldie but after the initial shock seems to be handling it pretty well.  We rescued them from the hot, dirty carnival and are doing our best to keep them alive!

I started this post at the end of June and now it's the end of July.  I'm sorry for the delay, but I just needed a little break so that I could be the best blogger I could be! :)  It's late so the pics will have to wait for tomorrow, but before I get another person asking about the blog, here it is....another post!!!!!

A vacation post will be coming soon also.....
