Emily is 113 Weeks Old

Week 113 was a big one for our family.  William Edward joined us this week!  We had a nice last few days as a family of three.  We continued with our normal activities, walking, playing, etc. and waiting for the baby to arrive.  On Thursday we colored Easter Eggs, went to the park, had a nice dinner, then headed to the hospital.  We are now a family of four and it is wonderful.  We can't wait to settle in and enjoy our new little boy.  Here are a couple of pics from this week before Will was born.  The rest of the pics are in another post.

William's First Days

William Edward joined our family on Friday, April 22 at 10:26 am.  He is a very content, happy, and sleepy baby.  Here are a few pictures of his first couple of days in the hospital and bringing our Easter baby home.  Enjoy!

Emily is 112 Weeks Old

Emily is 112 Weeks Old and for now, still an only child.  I've still been feeling pretty well so we've been out and about and getting things accomplished.  We visited the Easter Bunny this week and Emily was fine with him until it came time to sit on his lap.  She never cried though, which is a big step up from last year!  She will tell you she had fun now, but she wasn't too thrilled in the moment.  On Saturday she went to breakfast with the Easter Bunny with Grammie.  She loved the pancakes, the bunny, not so much!  That afternoon we went to the Easter Egg Hunt in town and she had a blast!  Due to all this wonderful "spring" weather we've been having it was in the school gym and the parents had to sit in the bleachers.  Emily did a great job and got LOTS of eggs!  She was a little receptive to the bunny this time, but Mommy held onto her the whole time and he was giving out goodie bags!!

Easter Bunny!

Emily is 111 Weeks Old!

Emily is 111 weeks old.  She is loving her big girl room and big girl bed.  Everything has the words "big girl" included now!  If you ask her anything like are you cold? She'll say no, I'm a big girl.  She is really excited about her baby brother, she is still telling us he is coming soon, but how soon???!?  Things are finally coming together around the house, so we may actually be ready for him now!  Emily is really enjoying all of the baby stuff we keep bringing out and putting together.  The only problem, she thinks its for her dolls.  We keep reminding her it's all for baby brother so we shall see how she does when he's here.  I think she is going to be an awesome big sister!  We had a busy weekend of parties, but it was very nice.  We had AC's 2nd birthday party on Saturday and celebrated Tyler's baptism on Sunday.  It was great to spend some time with friends and family and now, we no longer have plans for awhile!!  Just waiting on baby brother to join us and we'll be out and about again soon.   We have a ton of pictures, so I quickly tried to pick out some of the best.  Here are some pics of the fun.....

110 Weeks - Big Changes!

Emily is 110 Weeks Old!  She is definitely becoming our "big girl".  Daddy finished painting her big girl room and she moved in Thursday night!  She's been doing really well sleeping in her big girl bed.  She was a little too excited the first night, so it took awhile to fall asleep, but since then things have been going pretty well.  She now thinks she has two rooms, her big girl room and her other room.  I hope she doesn't mind the idea of baby brother moving in to her other room!  She talks about him a lot and says he is coming soon.  She says she will share her toys with him and help me take care of him, so we shall see...We finally got a chance to visit Katie and Megan (and Cristin, Pat, and Connor) this week, and Emily was a big help to Aunt Cristin when she had to change a diaper.  We had a nice visit and can't wait to see them  again soon!  Congrats again on your new little girls!  We had our MOMS Club Easter Party this weekend and Emily absolutely LOVED finding Easter eggs.  She totally got the concept and filled her basket up in no time!  We finally had to tell her she was done, so that the other kids could get their eggs. She was a little sad that she had to give the eggs back at the end, even though she got lots of cool stuff.  The actual eggs were the most exciting part!  Here are some pics of our fun week...
