Week 40 and Week 153

William is 40 weeks old and Emily is 153 weeks old.  We had another fun week.  William is a lot of fun as he's getting around and learning new things.  He learned to give high fives this week and laughs every time he does it.  He is mastering his army crawl and can make it across the whole living room without rolling at all.  If there's something he wants he's gonna get it.  William also has an awesome sister who loves to get toys for him and make him happy.  Ooooh...and someone's getting a couple of teeth...and no, it's not William!  Emily's bottom 2 year molars popped through this week!!  She's so excited about the idea of new teeth.

Here are some pics of our fun this week...

Week 39 and Week 152!

William is 39 weeks old and 9 months old today!!  Emily is 152 Weeks old and a month away from THREE YEARS OLD!!!  Where has the time gone???  My babies are getting so big!  William is getting around more and more, but I just love how he always comes to me and searches for my hands (and makes sure he gets the right one in the right hand) to pull himself up.  He loves standing up, he also seems to have no fear.  If he wants something, he'll reach for it not realizing he can't exactly balance by himself yet!  I'm going to be in trouble when he figures this balance and walking thing out!!  He's doing the army crawl a bit more, but doesn't get a whole lot of practice, since he's always standing up!

Emily always has something to say and is really pretty funny!  Nothing specific is coming to mind right now, but she definitely makes us smile and laugh a lot!  She loves dancing, she's always coming up with new dance moves and is perfecting her forward roll.  If she does it correctly she calls it a flip over and if she doesn't make it all the way over and falls off to the side it's called a tumble.  She was using both terms and it took me awhile to finally figure out what she meant!  I think I took about 20 videos of her doing them the other day at her request, so maybe Mike will get one up for you to see!  We also finally got our first real winter snow this year, so we had some fun playing outside yesterday.  Here are some pics of our fun!!

Cutting...this girl loves her scissors!

Construction Boy

We tried for a good pic Grammie, but at least everyone is having fun!

Emily was so cute, she pulled out her book of Christmas songs, opened up to the "Away in a Manger" page and started singing her version of it to Will.  You can see he was impressed, but what are you gonna do she gave him her baby seat to play with too!

Riding in their new car!  Yay for Mommy's free finds!

Yes, that is Emily making coconut pizza.  We had no pepperoni so she chose coconut as her topping.  It came out surprisingly well!

39 Weeks Old.  I'm lucky I got this one, he kept diving forward and almost nosedived onto the floor.

William had a great time out in the snow.  He did much better than his sister who was not impressed with her first snow.

Week 38 and Week 151!

William is 38 weeks old and Emily is 151 weeks old.  We had a great week that once again went way too fast!  William loves standing up (with help of course).  We'll be sitting on the floor and he just searches for hands to grab onto so he can pull himself up.  It is really cute, but I am really not ready for him to be up and moving yet!!  He's still my snuggly baby!!  We went to the Crayola Factory on Saturday and Emily had a blast.  Everything was totally up her alley, we even got to eat at a restaurant afterwards!  It's the little things that make a 2 year old happy!!

Here are some pics of our fun!

The cookie jar...a fan favorite in this house!

Holding "her" ball.  In the play area, there was this cool ball thing and Emily thought every single red ball was hers, since that was the first one she got.  She held her own and fought off the big boys to get "her" red ball!!
