83 Weeks!

Emily is 83 weeks old and closer to age 2 than 1!  Eeeek!  She turned 19 months old this week.  We had a lot of fun this week, as usual!  We had swimming again, and Emily sat on the steps by herself and swam with the teacher while I watched!  She looked like such a big girl!!  She is coming out with new words and gestures everyday.  I will sometimes do the come here finger to her.  Not really sure how to describe it, but she was standing in her room and I was walking by and she didn't say a word and just gestured with her finger for me to come to her.  It was too cute!  She loves reading her books by herself and she even recites parts of pages.  Even after reading a book to her once, she will remember things I said and repeat them the next time we read it.  She also knows a lot of her books by name, and not just the easy ones like Sesame Street and The Cat in the Hat.  I am amazed each and every day by what she knows.  We went to Emily's first library story time this week.  She had fun listening to the stories and coloring her craft afterward.  We also got to pick out some books to bring home.  I keep telling her we have to be careful with them and not to rip them, so when she reads the library books she says "no rip".  Smart girl I tell you!  Not that she always follows the directions she repeats, but we are on the right track!!  Saturday was Kim's baby shower, so Emily had fun with Daddy and the boys all day.  I don't think she stopped running until we got her into the car!  Today we went for a nice family walk and enjoyed some football time together.  I think Emily is still exhausted from yesterday!  Here are some pics from this week of fun...

 83 Weeks Old!

Kim's Baby Shower

Kim's baby shower was Saturday.  It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time!  Can't wait for Baby Cerutti to join the family so he can enjoy all the cool stuff and our company of course!!  I took my job as photographer very seriously and here is the result!  I only posted some of the best, but if you are interested in the complete collection, just let me know and I'll send them to you. 

82 Weeks Old!

Emily is 82 Weeks Old.  We had another fun filled week!  We started swim lessons again and Emily is really enjoying it.  She is definitely our little fish!  We had a fun week full of playgroups, park plays, and we even went apple picking.  On Saturday we celebrated Aunt Paula's birthday and Emily had a blast!  Sunday was football day and our little Jet fan is enjoying that too!  Here are some pics of our week...

81 Weeks!

Emily is 81 weeks old.  We had a lot of fun this week.  We started off with Labor Day and ended with a nice weekend with family at Kim and Jesse's End of Summer Party.  Emily had her 18 month checkup this week as well.  She is growing well and is 32.5 inches tall and weighs just over 23 pounds.  She's sticking to her tall and skinny curve!  Her friend Evan taught her Ring Around the Rosie this week and she LOVES it!  She'll even spin by herself and of course fall down!!  She is coming out with new words every single day, it is just amazing and she is ALWAYS talking.  No wonder she picks up new stuff all the time!  Here are some pics of our fun...

81 weeks old!

Emily is 80 Weeks Old!

Emily is now 80 weeks old!  It seems I've been so focused on Emily that I forgot to mention that Mike and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary last week.  We even got to go out for a date night.  Thanks Grammie for coming to watch Emily!!  It's been so much fun watching Emily lately, she is so into everything she does and talks ALL THE TIME!  We're enjoying playing in the backyard and going to the park while it's still Summer out there!  We went to Space Farms again on Friday.  It's really neat to see how differently Emily reacts to the different animals each time we go.  She absolutely loves feeding the animals, especially the deer, but not the "moose deer".  There was a very fiesty male with horns who kept chasing the others away and Emily did not like him.  We had a nice dinner at Kim and Jesse's on Friday and a fun filled day at the quarry on Sunday.  Check out our pics!
