Emily is 70 Weeks Old!

Emily is 70 weeks old.  On Tuesday she was officially 16 months!  She is so much fun and learning each and every day.  Some of her newest talents include walking backwards and walking around with her eyes covered.  You know, peek a boo while walking, that's always a hoot!!  So far no injuries from it though.  She also is getting the idea of jumping.  She loves it when we jump with her so we decided to try to show her how to do it on her own.  So, she squats down and says "down up" and sometimes makes it up to her tippy toes.  It is so cute.  She is also becoming very independent and insists on feeding herself, which she is doing amazingly well with.  I would say a good amount of the food makes it to her mouth.  She is definitely a girl who knows what she wants and will do everything she can to get it.  One of her favorite words is "no" which can be great at times and not so great at others.  I am hoping "yes" is in our near future.  We are having fun and enjoying summer.  Can't wait to see what she comes up with next!!

This girl loves crayons.  Not the coloring so much, but getting them out of the case and playing with them.  She knows where I keep it and tries to get them out.  She is nuts about crayons!  And only tries to eat them every once in awhile!!
