32 weeks old...

Emily is 32 weeks old today. Another week went by already! She just keeps on growing and being our happy girl. We finally seem to have a better nap schedule back...yay! (I know it will probably be changing and gone again tomorrow, but for now I'm happy!!) Emily has been having a lot of fun exploring and moving around the best she can...still no crawling, but she figures out how to get what she wants! She started with some new sounds this week...the favorite as of today is DA DA DA DA DA.....I think Daddy has been practicing with her! Here are the pics of our adventures this week....we are enjoying fall!

It got chilly this week. Mommy put these crazy slippers and my poncho on me to help keep me warm. Whatever...I'll just play and these slippers will be off in no time!

No, we didn't put her there...she just wiggled, rolled, and squirmed her way over. What a big girl!

In case you can't read it. Emily is 32 weeks old today. She LOVES paper and we can't keep that sign away from her. She is getting too smart for our tricks!

I know, let's give her another piece of paper to hold, maybe that will work. This is the best we got! (And it didn't keep her attention for long...she wants that sign!)

31 Weeks...

Emily is 31 weeks old today. We had a pretty eventful week. On Tuesday Emily officially became a 7 month old. Over half a year has passed since she was born. Where did the time go? She is moving around quite a bit and will probably be crawling soon. She started pushing herself backwards on the hardwood floor, so she is figuring out ways to move around. I am also going to say that she officially said her first word. On Friday morning, she was sitting on our bed and Michael and I were both there and she looked at me, put her hands in the air, and said..."MaMa". She definitely said it right to me. She has yet to do it again, but I'm sure it will be coming...Oh how big she is getting.....

31 weeks old and having fun!

Emily - Week 30

Emily is 30 weeks old!! We had another week of fun! We enjoyed a few fall morning walks...yes fall, time to pull out (or buy) appropriate clothing! Emily finally discovered her belly this week and how fun it is to hang out that way. She would always just roll over as soon as we put her on her belly, she did a lot of belly playing this week and can even spin in circles! She has also slept on her belly quite a few times. What a change from the girl who would scream when she rolled onto her belly!!

Emily is 29 Weeks Old!

And another week passes...Emily is still growing each and every day. She is loving solid food and even tried some cheerios this week. It's really cute to watch her try to pick them up and get them into her mouth. She is very persistent and eventually gets a few in there. She does a great job gumming them down to nothing too! This week is also Emily's first week of football. The Jets even won for their newest little fan!!

Emily is 28 Weeks Old

Well, another week has passed already and summer is coming to an end. I can't believe we are headed into fall already! Fall is the only season Emily hasn't seen yet. I definitely felt very blessed this week, when I didn't have to go begin another school year and instead got to stay home with Emily. It took a little while to get used to the idea, but I will definitely be just fine! Emily's new favorite thing to do is to yell MAMAMAMAMAMA....do you think she knows what she's saying? It sometimes seems like it. We had some fun this week, check it out...

Emily is 27 Weeks Old!

Emily is 27 weeks old today! I feel like I've been on here a lot lately and don't really have much more to say. Emily is growing, becoming more aware, and doesn't want to miss a thing that is going on around her! She is definitely a party girl! Here are some pics from this week.

27 weeks old. It's getting harder and harder to get that sign in the picture. Emily is obsessed with paper! We figured out how to distract her with another piece of paper for a moment though.

Myrtle Beach

Here are a few pictures from our time at Myrtle Beach. Emily had a lot of fun with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Erin. And of course her parents too!! Aunt Erin even got Emily to get her feet by the ocean without crying, woohoo!
