Emily has grown so much this last year. She is having a great year in school and learning so much. I think we can say she is a reader! She is reading more and more words and can read some simple books now too. She is making lots of friends at school and had a great birthday party at a gymnastics place with her class. The highlight for her was getting to strap into a harness and fly in the air and do a back flip! Her party was a Rapunzel theme and I had a lot of fun working on the cake and little details to make the day perfect for my little princess. We had some snow the day of her party and had to push off family dinner to the next day with the exception of Jay and Jackie who braved the snow on Saturday to come hang out with us! Thank you so much to everyone who wished Emily a Happy Birthday! She got a desk and is super excited!!! Our girl loves her writing and crafting and has been dying for a desk for about a year now.
