Sara and Mike: Week 86 and Week 199

William is 86 weeks old today. Another tooth at least...he doesn't exactly let me look all that much, but I did catch a glimpse of a tooth in the back on the bottom this week. Something else I noticed as I heard him say "wa-der" this week. I feel like his speech is so much more grown up than Emily's was at this age. I could be totally wrong, as I'm remembering her saying wa-wa forever. But I feel like although the pronunciation may not be there he is attempting to say words instead of creating a short cut or "baby words". He just never stops talking and I am so blown away!!

Emily is 199 weeks old today. She started her Christmas performances this week and the parties have started too!! She had a party at dance class on Thursday, then Friday was her big dance recital on stage! This girl absolutely loves being the center of attention and very much enjoys getting flowers afterward!! Her friend Evan came to watch her and brought her flowers, she was so excited!!! Mommy, Daddy, Grammie, Gia, and Aunt Jen were there too, so she had quite a little crowd and loved it! She also did a great job with her dances. I can definitely see improvement from last year (yes, it is still a 3 year old dancing, but improvement is improvement, right???)

We had a very busy weekend also. Saturday was the big Greenaway family Christmas party. It was really fun for everyone (well almost everyone) to be together. Sunday was Christmas at my parents house with Ed and Carrie after Emily's debut as a Shepard for the Sunday School program at church. She did a great job kneeling up by baby Jesus!! Now we wait for her next Shepard performance at her school this week. So, Christmas has officially begun in this house and we are enjoying every minute of it. I just can't believe it is here already!! Oh yeah, we got our tree this week also and both kids love it. So far, no major disasters!!
