We had an awesome week in the Outer Banks. The weather was beautiful, the beach was awesome, the kids loved playing in the sand and swimming everyday. I think I need a vacation from my vacation as running after 2 kids is not all that relaxing, but it was fun! It was great for the kids to spend so much time with family and even got a special visit from Aunt Erin. Of course the day Erin came was the only day it rained, but it was nice to spend some time with her and Emily loved being able to paint! I had brought some paints and told her we could use them on a rainy day, so Emily was waiting all week for a rainy day!!! Millie came on vacation this year also, which gave William a chance to get more comfortable with dogs. He loves the puppy, just not when she's licking his feet when he's in his high chair or sneaks up on him! Our trip ended with Lauren and Ryan's wedding in Delaware while the kids got to spend the night with Ryan and Kathy who live nearby. The kids had a blast and Ryan and Kathy were still standing when we got back, so it seems all went well!!!
