Our vacation was only supposed to have 2 parts, but thanks to Hurricane Irene we got three! We evacuated on Thursday and headed to Fayetteville to stay with Jamie and Erin. Jamie had never met us, but opened up his home to us and we made the best of it! It was still vacation after all!!! It rained and was a bit windy there for about a day, but that was it. Then we had beautiful weather to enjoy while we waited to head back to the Outer Banks. While in Fayetteville we got to visit Merle & Odell which was really nice since it had been a good 10 years since I'd last seen them and they got to meet Mike and the kids. We visited the Children's Museum which Emily loved, went to a park, and swimming in the pool. Then we finally got to head back to vacation... Here are some pics of our evacuation fun!
