Emily is 124 weeks old and still going strong with the potty. She stays dry most of the time as long as I remind her to go to the bathroom all of the time. Her next goal is to start telling Mommy when she has to go and before she starts doing it! She has started telling us as she is doing it, so I guess it's a step in the right direction. Emily is also becoming more confident in public places. She is always looking to make friends with other kids that are around and actually ordered for herself at a restaurant without even being prompted. She just told the waiter what she wanted before I had a chance to speak. What a big girl!!
We began the week with a fun 4th of July at the Kopcho's. Emily did awesome with the fireworks and learned to ooh and aah. A huge step up from last year when we sat in the kitchen and missed the whole show! We also went to Space Farms this week with Jesse, Kim, and Tyler. Emily had a blast feeding the deer and looking at all of the animals. She really has no fear and let the animals eat right out of her hand. It's amazing how different the experience is a year later. We had a fun weekend with a sleepover at Grammie & Pop Pop's while Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding, dinner with some college friends, and then a belated birthday dinner for Jen. Here are some pics of our fun...
