Happy Birthday William

My baby is THREE! And he would very adamantly correct me and say he is not a baby, he is a big boy! He is such a sweet, lovable little boy. He loves playing with his toys and it's been so fun to watch him try out all of the new stuff he got for his birthday! Thank you everyone. He plays so nicely by himself and with his sister, most of the time! I love to listen to him and the things he comes up with. I took some video of him playing yesterday, perhaps I'll get around to posting one! I feel like he has really grown up in the last week, now that he is officially 3. I'm not sure if he was waiting for the official day to become a "big boy" but he is doing so much better on the potty lately. He's started telling me when he has to go and has even pooped on the potty the last couple of days! Are we finally almost there???? I think William is close to giving up naps also. I had given up on them a couple of weeks ago and then he pretty much started falling asleep most afternoons after that! We've been pretty busy with all of his birthday and Easter celebrations though. It's also finally been nicer outside so we've been doing a lot more running around and playing at the park. It always amazes me when we get back to the park in the spring and see how much more the kids can do than they did in the fall. William is climbing up everything and pretty much doesn't need my help anymore. He has graduated to the big boy swings, mostly because he is way too heavy to try to get in and out of the baby swings.

We celebrated William's birthday with a kids party at a local play place, a family dinner, a picnic at the park with his friends, and then pizza dinner on his birthday! And don't forget Easter in the middle there also! It was a busy few days, but William enjoyed it and was so excited about his birthday this year. Here are some pics of my three year old's fun!
