Halloween
We finally had a "normal" Halloween. William's first in our house! Rapunzel and the Dragon had a great time celebrating. We had a lunch playdate with the MOMS Club, went to the library for story time and a parade, then went trick or treating in our neighborhood. They had a great time and I think Emily could have gone all night! William wanted to ring the doorbell at every house and didn't quite get the idea that you are only supposed to take one candy at each house, but was good for the most part. They now have a ton of candy and pretty much no interest in it at all. After dinner I have been offering them a treat and instead of their candy they are asking for ice pops! I'll take it!! Here are some pics of my little cuties...
Trying to get a pic after the town parade.

William loved the purple gumdrops and definitely ate more than he put on the house!

She had just gotten the scarf Aunt Erin had made, so she wore it Trick or Treating the entire time!
William ~ 2 1/2 Years
William officially turned 2 1/2 on October 22. It seems like he is constantly growing and he is definitely all BOY!! He is wearing size 3T clothes and size 9 shoes. His feet are huge!! We have been potty training for the last couple of months and William has been doing really well. I would say he is peeing on the potty around 90% of the time and more like 50% with pooping. Although, the last few days have been pretty good!! He likes wearing his big boy underwear, so hopefully things will continue to go well.
We had pizza for dinner tonight, and I was reminded of William's word for pizza crust. He is very particular about how his pizza is cut and who cuts it (MOMMY!!). He calls the crust the tail. I have no idea where he came up with that, but he says it every time we have pizza! He wants the pizza tail cut off.
William may be turning into my rough and tough little boy, but he still has time for his Mommy snuggles. Today he insisted on laying on the couch with me at nap time and he did actually fall asleep. I can't say no to that!
William's favorite color is red. He loves watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood (A spinoff of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood for those of you not in the toddler tv mode right now!!). He also still loves Mickey Mouse, Thomas, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
We are having fun, and definitely have our moments (Yes, I have been telling him a lot lately that he reminds me a lot of his Uncle Eddie when he was little) but overall things are going well and we are having fun watching him grow and become his own little person...William! If you call him anything else, he will correct you and tell you his name is William.

Happy 85th Birthday Nana!
Today was a birthday celebration Nana was definitely looking forward to. A nice lunch with the family followed by a hot air balloon ride! We all met at Aunt Carol's house, had a great lunch, cake, and fun visiting with each other. We then all managed to leave on time and head to the hot air balloon ride. It seemed like a perfect day, not a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately, after we got there and no balloon was there, we found out it was too windy to go up today. Although it was disappointing, in true Greenaway style we partied on anyway in the parking lot and had a great afternoon! After all, it's all about family! I'm sure it is a birthday Nana will always remember, and the balloon ride will happen eventually!! So here you go, some pics from the day...

Pumpkin Picking
We managed to squeeze in a quick pumpkin picking trip on Sunday after Erin's Baby Shower weekend! Of course my visions of beautiful pictures of my kids at the pumpkin patch did not happen, but here are a few pics of our fun!!
William loves the hayride and tractor.
Emily found the perfect pumpkin about 3 seconds into the patch!
Daddy holding the perfect pumpkins...kiddos done!
Emily would sit for me...
Will said no way!
Ok Mom, one more...can we go back on the hay ride now?
