Soccer firsts and lasts

William decided to try soccer out for the last couple of weeks.  He did great!  He loved being on the field, ran right out to the coach, listened and did what he was supposed to, and was smiling the whole time.  But then about 10 minutes in, he just ran off the field and informed me he was done!  So he sat in the dirt and played while he waited for Emily to finish.  He still wanted to try it again and did a little better the last week and was very excited to get his first trophy!  Emily had a great end to her season and has improved so much since the fall.  As of today she plans on playing again next year, we'll see what she says tomorrow!!  Here are some pics of our fun...

Father's Day Mets Game

We had a great time celebrating some awesome Dads yesterday.  Emily is now five, so got to go to her first Mets game.  It was a gorgeous day and we all had a lot of fun!  Emily was spoiled with every snack imaginable and even got to run the bases after the game.  She wasn't all that interested in the game, but has some great memories and enjoyed herself.  It was nice to get to spend some time with my Dad and remember the times he took me to games when I was a kid.  Here are some pics of our fun day!

Last Days of Preschool

I can't believe this school year has come to an end and my baby will be off to Kindergarten in the fall.  She had an absolutely amazing year with awesome teachers!  We are really going to miss them, but look forward to Will getting a chance to have them also.  Emily loves school and is so excited for Kindergarten.  I am excited for this new adventure also, but can't help but get emotional about her growing up so fast.  It hits me at random times and I have definitely had some weepy moments recently.  I'm sure they will continue and I will definitely miss my baby when she's at school all day next year.  We're looking forward to a fun summer and watch out world, Emily is headed to Kindergarten!!  Here are some pics from Emily's last day of school and picnic.

Milestones!

Emily tied her shoes by herself today!  She has been so determined to do it and has been close many times, but today she actually got the two loops!!  And yes, she does bunny ears just like her Mommy and Daddy!!
