Summer Fun!

I'm not really sure what happened to these last few weeks, but we've been enjoying our summer!!  It's been feeling a bit more like fall than summer, but we're getting outside and enjoying it!  We've been going to the park, library, and even braving some chilly days at the pool!  We celebrated the birthdays of 2 special Grandma's (Madeline and Anne) and are getting ready for vacation number 2!!!  Here are some pics of a BBQ with some great friends!!!

Cape Cod

We went to Cape Cod for a week with my parents, Ed, Carrie, and Baby Beatrice.  We had a great time on our first non OBX vacation together!  It was a much shorter drive for everyone which was a nice bonus.  We had a great time doing the beach thing and then some shopping and other activities later in the week when it rained on us.  William loved going on the "Pirate Ship" aka the ferry to Martha's Vineyard.  He pretty much calls every boat a pirate ship and starts yelling Yo, Ho, Ho!  Emily loved the carousel where she got the brass ring, which means she gets a free ride, not once, but twice!!  I don't know where this girl gets her luck, I mean skill, but she sure gets a lot of things come her way.
