Week 25 and Week 138!

William is 25 weeks old.  He is moving around a lot more.  He is not always where I leave him anymore.  He loves rolling around and grabbing for anything he can reach.  We were still away the beginning of this week having fun.  Then kept it going with a trip to Space Farms, shopping, and Leah's baptism today.

Week 24 and 137

William is 24 weeks old and Emily is 137 weeks old.  We had a great week that ended with our trip to Massachusetts.  William decided that Friday night when we got there it was a good time to have fun with raspberries instead of sleeping.  I was laying with Emily trying to get her back to sleep and all she kept saying was that William was making cranberries!  That one definitely stuck and we all have a lot of fun when William makes cranberries!  It was a beautiful weekend and we had a great time getting away and spending time with family.

24 Weeks Old

Megan and Katie were baptized today.  It was a really nice service followed by some fun with family and friends.  Here are some pics of this very special day.  And just in case you need it, Katie's in purple and Megan's in pink!

Week 23 and Week 136!

William is 23 weeks old.  His food adventures continue.  He can't get enough of his cereal, so we decided to try something new.  He had avocado for the first time this weekend.  He didn't gobble it up quite as fast as his cereal, but ate it all both times we've given it to him.  We shall see if these good eating habits continue.  He's moving around quite a bit and getting closer to sitting up on his own.  He can balance for a few seconds before toppling over and if he has just a little support he's good.

Emily is 136 weeks old.  She has quite a few things she says that we find pretty funny.  Whenever we read stories she has to read the book (meaning she holds it) and she chooses one of us to talk (meaning we are the ones who actually read the words).  Last night she wanted William to talk, but it just didn't work out so well!  Also, if she wants to do something she know I won't approve of she will tell me to turn my face to Will.  She's figuring out how to be sneaky already...this is not a good sign!  At least for now, she's giving me a signal and doing it right in front of me, I guess it could be worse!  She is definitely not the silent sneaky type.  There is nothing silent about her! She is also our little hoarder.  She is always pulling stuff out of the garbage and insists we keep it.  Yes, sometimes its something that was hers but is now broken or stained, but she actually pulled my dirty old sponge out of the garbage this week thinking I did it by accident.  I had to convince her it was ok and that I had a new one.

The weather was pretty rainy this week, so not much else exciting went on.  We had a lazy Saturday and Megan and Katie's baptism today.  It was a really nice day and I'll post some pics from that in another post.
