Week 22 and Week 135!

William is 22 weeks old and 5 months! His favorite activity these days is napping!! He is good for two 3+ hour naps a day. It doesn't leave much time for other stuff, but he's a happy boy and finds time for the activities he likes best. He likes to play with his sister, laugh at whatever she does, eat, and just chill! He is still my laid back, snuggly little boy. He'll smile for anyone and is giving up his laughs a little more easily now too.

Emily is 135 weeks old. She always has something to say and is very entertaining. She also has to do everything I do! Sometimes when I change William's diaper I will give him some raspberries on his belly. So, Emily has to do it too. I pick her up and she gives him a cute little kiss on his belly button. It is just so sweet! She loves her brother so much and is always looking out for him. I also love listening to her when she goes to check on him for me when he wakes up. She turns on his mobile, gives him some toys, and talks to him like I would. She is willing to do anything to get him to laugh. I just hope she continues to love him so much when he can walk, talk, and have a mind of his own.

Emily had a growth spurt and got too big to sit rearfacing in the car. Here she is facing forward. She likes it, but has asked to turn around again. She sees so much more now and tells us all about it!

Week 21 and Week 134

William is 21 weeks old and we have ROLLING! William has started rolling from his belly to his back. He goes back and forth now and has a lot of fun. He also loves his sister. She can make him laugh so easily and they both love it! It's really fun to see those little moments where they really enjoy each other.

Emily is 134 weeks old and went to dance class! She did an awesome job. She went right in with the other girls and didn't cry at all. What a big girl! She got to wear tap shoes and everything!! We had 2 picnics in the park planned, but one got spoiled by rain and the other by cold! We had a nice weekend as things started warming back up a bit.

Week 20 and Week 133

William is 20 weeks old! He went to the doctor this week for his 4 month visit and is 15 lbs, 11 oz and 26.5 inches long. He's still a big boy, but not gaining as fast as he did in his first couple of months. All looks well and he did great with his shots. Only a tiny cry after the second one. Much better than his sister ever was. She'd start crying when the nurse weighed her!!! :) We love you Emily! William is starting to roll around a bit more and is pretty much making it from back to belly. He also tried cereal for the first time this weekend. He didn't really like it, but I bet he'll change his mind eventually. He kept making the most awful faces and spitting it out!

Emily is 133 weeks old! She tried out a dance class on Saturday. She was the youngest one there and did an awesome job! She followed directions really well and was also pretty coordinated. Her only problem was that she wouldn't let me leave the room. We're trying out another class this week and we'll decide what we want to do. She loved it though, so I'm sure we'll be doing something!

This week was back to school week for the rest of the world and back to a routine week for us. I think we're still working on getting out of vacation mode. It was really nice having Daddy around all the time!

Vacation Part III

After several days of waiting, watching, and wondering we were finally allowed back to the OBX on Tuesday morning. We got up early and left Fayetteville and took the 4 hour drive. We got there in time for another lunch at the Black Pelican, then headed up to the house in Duck. Luckily everything was fine with our house, just some damage on the sound side, so we couldn't use that beach or pool. It looked like it would have been a really nice place to hang out for sunsets, but oh well. We had vacation and we had each other! Here are some pics of our fun!
