65 Weeks Old

Emily is 65 weeks old, 15 months!!  I have no idea where the time has gone.  I think back to this time last year when I had a little baby and I can't believe how big she has gotten.  Emily is walking and talking and wants what she wants when she wants it.  She can't always tell me what she wants so it can be frustrating at times, but we eventually figure it out.  Like when I pick up everything on the counter before I realize she wants a spoon from the drying rack.  I am learning that I can't leave her cups around after I wash them because when she sees them she wants them all!!!  She still has her 3 teeth and we are waiting for number four any day now!  We had a nice relaxing weekend of yard work and Daddy and Emily had some bonding time while I went to Melissa's Sprinkle on Sunday.  We are so excited for the newest family member to arrive!  I'll post some pics from that in another post.  So, here is week 65...

Emily loves spaghetti!

Emily got a package!
Aunt Barbara sent Emily one of Michael's old toys.  They have both already had fun playing with it.  Thank you!!!

Emily insists on using her spoon herself.  She gets the idea, but the only problem is that most of the food doesn't make it into her mouth!

Chillin' in her new chair.

Playing with the track.  This is what was in the package.  There is a lot more to it also, lots of fun!

64 Weeks Old!

Emily is 64 Weeks Old and is now the proud owner of 3 teeth!  One of her top teeth finally popped through after dinner today.  She is also our little parrot who repeats everything we say and is adding to her vocabulary every day.  We are having so much fun playing and learning.  Emily loves being outside, playing at the park, and her favorite toys are rocks and sticks!  We had a nice weekend with family.  Sunday, we went to Space Farms and Emily really had fun checking out the animals and watching Mommy feed them.  The rocks at the zoo were pretty awesome too!  Here are some pics of our fun this week...

Riding on the duck at the park.  She figured out how to make it rock herself!

63 Weeks Old

Emily is 63 Weeks Old.  We had another week of fun!  The weather was nice most of the week, so we got outside for some walking and park playing!  Emily just loves running around, swinging, and going down the slide.  She enjoys following the big kids around too.  She'll be one of them before we know it!  Emily is saying more and more words each day and just loves talking and pointing out things.  We had a great time at a birthday party and my parents 30th anniversary party on Saturday.  And we ended the week with a perfect Mother's Day.  Here are some pics...

One of Emily's new favorite activities.

62 Weeks Old!

Emily is now 62 weeks old.  I am having so much fun playing with her and watching her grow.  She is having so much fun exploring her world and learning new things every single day.  If you ask her what sound a puppy dog makes, she makes a really cute high pitched "woof woof" sound.  She also can roar like a lion.  She is trying to run now too, but she just isn't quite ready for that!  She is climbing all over the place and is really confident with climbing all around the play area at McDonald's.  She climbs right up the steps and goes down the slide all by herself!  Just last month she wasn't even close to doing it all on her own and was kinda afraid of the slide.  Now, I think she would dive down the slide head first sometimes if I let her.  She is also finally learning how to get down from the couch the correct way, so I don't have to worry about her falling quite as much.  She has also discovered how awesome it is to run around with no clothes on and really hates getting her diaper changed.  I don't think she likes taking a break from running around and discovering and who needs clothes anyway?  Especially since the weather is getting much nicer!  It really does amaze me how much she is learning and how quickly she picks up on things.  This week was our last swim class, we just have to find some places to swim this summer now to keep it up.  Emily loves the water and learned a lot!  Here are some pics from this week...

She almost got the hang of the party horn before the cardboard disintegrated.
If you look closely you can see her two little teeth!

Where are Emily's teeth?
She will also point to her belly and sometimes her nose when asked!

Smile!

Pretty girl.

So much fun!
You can see her teeth here too.

Future basketball star!

Time for the big girl car seat!  She loves it!
